The official opening took place July 17, 1984

In the years 1970 - 1980, in France, the compagny of Little Touristic Trains were counted on the fingers! The few small Trains then built to scale, were primarily enjoyed by children in some resorts ...
Aware of the cultural interest that might arise in the future, this fun mean of transportation, Louis-Paul Barbaste, imagine to create a Little Train “revolutionary ” :

Primarily for transporting adults.
Sitting in the same direction, facing forward, to give them a real guided tour..

Very complementary to the interior visit, it was very quickly acclaimed by a large number of tourism professionals.
